We have been successfully hosting C.O.R.E. fit club meet ups twice a week at Valley High school. We just received our t-shirts and buttons. So far we’ve raised a humble amount of club money to focus on some active trips in the spring time.
Also, we have collected a ton of fitness toys to be distributed to local foster kids during this holiday season. Thank you so much to those who have donated! We have FWB bins located in various gyms throughout the region.
As the year closes I can’t express how blessed we are to have experienced humble success in our first year as a valid nonprofit. Next year we have solid quarterly goals, plans for program expansions, as well as more grant writing, fundraising and donation drives!
Thank you for all your support. If you are interested in volunteering or would like to start a club in the California region, please email us at volunteer@fitnesswithoutborders.org Happy Holidays!

Hello FWB Supporters!
I am happy to announce that we received our first mini-grant from Nike! We plan on using those funds to begin our high school fitness club, C.O.R.E., in the Folsom school district early next year. We are proud and ecstatic to have Nike's funding and support.
Currently we are preparing our club curriculum for the upcoming school season at Valley High school. With the assistance of Club Adviser, Coach Jon Russell, we are confident this year will be a huge success. Expect more of our club's events and progress in future blogs.
This fall is also the beginning of our FWB internship program. Not only will you be able to gain college units, but you will also gain invaluable, hands on, professional experience in the fitness, nonprofit world. If you are interested in receiving more information, please contact us at volunteer@fitnesswithoutborders.org
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer! Thanks for reading and our supporting our community initiatives!

Hello Everyone! We had a very eventful April with events like Kids Day at the Capital and Mom-ME! Fitness workshops. We are busily preparing for Valley High school’s Health Faire on the 16th as well as our first fundraising event coming up on June 20th. Our next board meeting will be held on May 6th in downtown Sacramento. If you are local and all would like to attend in the community discussion, you can sit in any 1st Tuesday of the month.
In the meantime, we are building our base of professional volunteers and interns for the summer. For more information, please contact us at: volunteer@fitnesswithoutborders.org
We are also seeking mothers with young children ages 0-5 who are interested in our free “MOM-ME! Fitness Club” program. This is a community building initiative in which we supply the program and support, while you supply the people and the personal motivation to get into great shape!
We really appreciate all your support and are looking forward to establishing our first TRI(y!) fitness 4 kids program in the fall!

Greetings Fitness Enthusiasts,
Time is going by REALLY fast as we are preparing for many upcoming events in the next few months. Not only are we expanding our organization's awareness in the Sacramento region, but we are simultaneously writing grants, creating training programs and preparing for upcoming fundraising FWB events.
I want to thank all of you who are supporting us so far with donations to our SEED money. I'm going to create something special for all those who have given so that this organization will always remember and show gratitude to the many people who made this vision possible. If you would like to donate to our SEED fund, please use PayPal. Our email is: donate@fitnesswithoutborders.org
If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at volunteer@fitnesswithoutborders.org. All of your help and encouragement is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Everyone,

Hello Everyone,
We are so excited to get programs moving since we became official earlier this month! Right now, the team is preparing for our first Health Conference coming up this Saturday at 1:30pm - 4:30pm at the Sheraton Grande in Sacramento, California. The event is the 8th annual conference hosted by Child Action Incorporated, in which they focus on Early child care and Education. They will host a variety of events including workshops and over 200 vendors.
Next weekend, I plan on attending the IHRSA Convention in San Diego where the biggest, baddest and best fitness peeps from around the world come to network, share ideas and lead the world into fitness.
Tonight, however, I plan on walking my dog, attending a kickboxing class and keeping my body strong, agile and flexible for the work that will be done ahead. Stay Tuned!
